New Menu

Happy 2015! For the new year our Chefs & Jim have gotten together and updated our menu for both Lunch & Dinner.

On the lunch & dinner menus you will now find that we have a fantastic vegetable risotto. Aborio rice and seasonal vegetables make this dish one that will delight any vegetarian. The appetizers & salads we offer are now the same for both lunch & dinner. You’ll now be able to enjoy our shrimp & lobster won-tons for lunch! For lunch we have also added a pork tenderloin sandwich: with sauteed artichoke hearts, figs & apple wood smoked bacon, this hearty sandwich hits the spot every time. We’ve also kicked up our grilled cheese sandwich to a whole new level. Caramelized apples, Brie, apple wood smoked bacon and a spicy mustard sit between two slices of Truckee Sourdough’s finest ciabatta bread.For dinner you’ll now find items such as grilled rosemary chicken, red wine braised beef short ribs, and Certified Angus Beef 14 oz Ribeye.

Part of what we hope to bring you when dining at Monkey Cat is a fresh menu, full of items to suit anyone’s tastes & cravings.  Whenever possible we source our products locally, to give you the freshest ingredients. We also are eco-conscious and whenever we can, our fish & meats come from sustainable sources. Our mission is to bring you the best high quality, local ingredients and turn them in to 5 star meals you’d find at any fine dining establishment in larger cities.  We also understand that due to allergies, you may not be able to enjoy certain dishes. We do our best to accommodate, and we also offer a selection of gluten-free & dairy free dishes. If you have no allergies, please enjoy the dishes as prepared by our chefs.
